Take part in the Champions Challenge

Champions Challenge is the brainchild of a group of mates who wanted to challenge themselves and make a real and positive impact to the lives of children with autism, and their families.

Champions Challenge will see teams of four undertake a tough physical and mental challenge, as they embark upon a one-day hike through rugged terrain from Mt. Nebo via Gold Creek Reservoir to Enoggera Reservoir. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to AEIOU and help children with autism live their best lives.

We are one team

All trekkers must be behind trek leader and in front of rear trek leader, the pace is a team controlled with an average pace of 3.0km to 4.0km . Remember it is not about your abilities, it is about the team’s ability overall.

Remember, this event trek is not a race! It is physically testing, but an empowering journey that recognises the support that Team Jacob and the AEIOU Foundation gives to children with autism to live their best lives.

Your efforts can make a big impact

Autism is not rare. More than one in 100 Australians are diagnosed with autism, making it one of the most common disabilities affecting young children in our country. The intensive early intervention therapy, care and support offered by AEIOU helps children develop essential life skills and prepares them for their next learning environment. AEIOU specialises in helping children develop functional communication and behaviour, social skills and independence. Each child receives individual strategies focusing on goals which best support them to achieve long-term outcomes.

With your help, we can support children with autism and their families, giving them access to evidence-based early intervention programs and practical support. Together, we can help children with autism live their best lives.
